Celebrating excellence in Indian cuisine, the English Curry Awards has awarded two Gloucestershire curry houses regional titles in this year's awards.
Bhoomi Kitchen in Cheltenham was crowned Restaurant of the Year South West for 2023; while Mezbaan in Tewkesbury took home the title for Customer Experience of the Year South West.
The awards recognise the best curry houses, takeaways and chefs from across the country — and the recognition gives an extra special boost to Bhoomi Kitchen, as it celebrates its 10th anniversary this August 2023.
Specialising in south Indian cuisine like masala dosa, one-pot curries and Keralan barbecue, Bhoomi Kitchen is no stranger to recognition, having been praised by the Michelin guide for its warm welcome and indulgent chocolate samosas, too.
