Cotswold pub, The Fox at Oddington, has made the list of Michelin inspectors' favourite new restaurants this December 2022.
The pub was bought by Daylesford Organic Farm's owner, Carole Bamford, at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and reopened following an extensive refurbishment in July 2022.
With a similar aesthetic to its sister pub, The Wild Rabbit in Kingham, the 16th century inn has a more laid-back feel with an accessible menu of bar snacks and pizzas, as well as a seasonal à la carte menu which showcases ingredients from Daylesford's organic farm and Wootton Estate.
It impressed Michelin inspectors on their recent visit, making it the only Gloucestershire venue to make the list of their new favourite restaurants.
The inspectors praised the venue's 'attractive makeover' and said: 'this characterful, neighbourhood pub serves up great quality produce from the Daylesford estate in unfussy, generously sized dishes, including pizzas from the wood-fired oven.'
Diners will have to wait and see whether The Fox at Oddington could be in line for a coveted Michelin star or Bib Gourmand, with the release date for the Michelin Guide 2023 yet to be revealed.
Currently the only Gloucestershire restaurant with a Michelin star is Le Champignon Sauvage in Cheltenham.
