Whitemead Forest Park in the Forest of Dean opens its brand-new pet-friendly cafe.

Forest of Dean holiday resort, Whitemead Forest Park opens the doors to its brand-new pet-friendly cafe.

The Wild Boar Coffee cafe is situated within a newly restored building in the centre of the park and features both indoor and outdoor patio seating, as well as water bowls and dog biscuits to keep furry friends happy on their holidays.

Excellent for relaxing with your pooch, the cafe serves up a selection of toasties, paninis and cakes, as well as a range of coffee, tea and soft drinks, too.

Following the successful launch of its doggy playpark last year, the new addition is evidence of the site's continued commitment to being pet friendly, alongside the array of dog-friendly accomodation including its self-catering log cabins, glamping pods, lodges and apartments — set among the acres of woodland for playful pups to explore.

The cafe and on-site facilities, such as the swimming pool, spa, gym, restaurant and bar, are available for day guests to access, too.
