Following the runaway success of his last big blockbuster appearance in Disney’s Aladdin, Kokoso the camel has been spotted in Tewkesbury, filming for his next performance – a pantomime of the same name!
The superstar camel was ridden by Will Smith in the 2019 Disney remake, making him the most famous cast member to ever appear in a pantomime at The Roses, when it launches on Saturday 30 November 2019.
Kokoso is based in Warwickshire, and has visited Tewkesbury this week to film a promotional trailer and a short film for his cameo in Aladdin at The Roses, where he will appear on screen.
The camel’s trip coincided with water supply problems in Tewkesbury due to flooding, which, according to The Roses’ head of marketing, Caroline Lawrence: ‘presented the unmissable opportunity to make many jokes about a mobile water supply!’
