Having premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival, Edie is the story of an 84-year-old widow who is ready to take on one last challenge; escaping her family and controlling husband, she plans to climb a mountain in the Scottish Highlands.
Embracing the lead role, Sheila Hancock climbed the mountain herself while filming, as well as cycling, rowing, and camping out with the film crew, during what was an inspiring and committed performance.
