October 2024 sees the publication of issue number 200 of SoGlos's weekly business newsletter.

Unveiled in September 2020, SoGlos's business section was launched to uncover and share newsworthy stories from across the county’s diverse business community, in a uniquely modern and accessible style — a mission which has gone on to be realised through the publishing of almost 2,000 professionally-written business articles; four successful years hosting the Gloucestershire's leading Business Awards; a growing and influential business-focused social media community; as well as 200 issues of the weekly business newsletter.

Issue 200 was delivered to subscribers on Friday 18 October 2024, with each issue of the SoGlos business newsletter including a digest of the week's best business stories: from breaking news stories and exclusive interviews to unmissable networking and training events, and — this week —  the revelation of the Gloucestershire Business Awards winners for 2024.

Targeted at business owners, business leaders and senior-level management, SoGlos's business coverage has developed an unprecedented countywide reputation over the past four years — spanning sectors including technology, IT, legal, financial, manufacturing, property and construction — sharing stories about dynamic start-ups right through to Gloucestershire’s top 100 businesses.

Adding business to SoGlos's original lifestyle output has not only strengthened its position as Gloucestershire’s leading media brand — expanding its editorial remit to cover all aspects of living in, visiting and working in the county — but audience numbers have also grown thanks to a huge appetite for business-focused stories in the county, too.

SoGlos CEO Michelle Fyrne said: ‘There was an obvious appetite for a modern approach to business journalism in Gloucestershire four years ago, which continues to be reflected in the audience data — with highest recorded engagement levels for SoGlos's quality business coverage; increasing subscriber numbers for SoGlos's business newsletter; and follower numbers on SoGlos's LinkedIn channel now up to 8,500 followers.

‘The county’s business community has really come together to help make SoGlos's business output a great success — sending issue 200 of the business newsletter is a wonderful milestone.’
