For the second year running, Gloucester-based ProCook has made the list of the Top 100 Best Places to Work in the UK.
The prestigious list, compiled by Great Place to Work, ranks the best businesses to work for in the country in three categories, Small — with 20 to 50 employees; Large — with 251 to 1,000 employees; and Super Large — with over 1,000 employees.
Results are based on anonymous staff surveys and what it calls a 'culture audit', both of which saw ProCook earn a place on the list of the UK's best large workplaces for another year.
On top of being a certified B Corp, which demonstrates the company's ongoing commitment to people and the planet, the fast-growing firm saw its annual turnover reach £54 million in 2022, making it a true Gloucestershire success story, too.
It has also increased the number of head office staff by 35 per cent, with its impressive new Quedgeley headquarters — complete with running track, gym and on-site restaurant — set to bring its entire staff team and operations under one roof when complete.
ProCook founder and CEO, Daniel O'Neill, said in a LinkedIn post announcing the news: 'For a second year running, based on the anonymous opinions of our colleagues, ProCook has again secured it's place in the Top 100 Best Places to Work in the UK for Large Companies.
'This is so much more than an award though — being committed to creating a great place to work has to be within the company's DNA. All decisions made have to take into account our colleagues and the environment they work in — this, as you can imagine, is sometimes very difficult, but ultimately our colleagues are key to our success.'
