Gloucester's Earth-conscious brewery gets at new chairman and finance director this June 2024, with Gloucester Brewery announcing the appointment of Lance Bradley and Naomi Smith to its board with immediate effect.

Former Gloucester Rugby CEO Lance, who is now CEO of Ospreys Rugby, takes on the mantle of chairman to guide Gloucester Brewery on its journey of growth and expansion.

He brings a wealth of leadership experience to the role, with a track record of delivering strategic vision in his previous roles at Gloucester Rugby and as vice president of Mitsubishi UK.

Naomi steps into her new role as finance director having held the position of finance manager at Gloucester Brewery since August 2023.

In less than a year with the company, she's demonstrated her expertise in financial planning, helping the business to grow organically while remaining independent. As finance director, she'll play an even more pivotal role in driving Gloucester Brewery's financial strategy and operational efficiency.

Geoff Smith, managing director at Gloucester Brewery, commented: 'Over the past 18 months, Gloucester Brewery has made great strides post-Covid. Strengthening the management team and increasing capability at the board level is a testament to the growth ambitions of the business.

'We are thrilled to welcome Lance and Naomi to our board and are confident that their leadership will propel us to new heights.'
