Enjoy a delightful day out, surrounded by the beauty of Badminton Estate’s gardens this spring.
Visitors can take in colourful tulips and a host of seasonal flowers in the gardens surrounding the home of the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort, from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 27 April 2025.
There are formal beds on the east side of the house, designed by Russell Page and François Goffinet; and a south garden with wonderful water squares, hedges, beds and borders.
The walled garden, a short stroll from the house through the park, is home to the Badminton Estate kitchen garden, providing fruit and vegetables as well as cut flowers for much of the year. The greenhouse is used for propagation and houses a fine display of pelargoniums.
Visitors can also explore a range of shopping stalls featuring plants, flowers and gardening tools.
Food and drink options include treats and coffee from KNEAD Bakery, as well as hot cross buns and teas inside Badminton House's Old Kitchen for a cosy sit-down experience.
Adding to the cultural experience, A Garden of Botanical Art exhibition is on display in the Old Hall, offering visitors the opportunity to appreciate botanical artwork and purchase limited-edition prints.
There's plenty of parking in front of Badminton House, with dedicated disabled parking. Most of the gardens are also accessible to wheelchair users and people with mobility issues, with accessible toilets in the Old Hall, too.
Money raised at the event supports the Severn Area Rescue Association and the Church Restoration Fund.
