Brave visitors can put their courage to the test this October half term, eek-sploring an amazing trail and the wildlife that lurks at Slimbridge Wetland Centre.
Suitably spooky in the run-up to Halloween, eek! week is taking place from Saturday 21 October to Sunday 5 November 2023 — encouraging youngsters to delve into the weird and wonderful world of wetland nature.
Be on alert as you make your way around the wetlands, with a whole host of engaging activities to discover along the interactive trail, which promises a fun wildlife learning experience for children of all ages.
Daring fearless visitors to put their hands into a snake box and get up close to amphibian friends, there's also the opportunity to create an origami toad or a recyclable dragonfly in the Art Hub.
Visit Professor Slug's House Of Bugs for an eccentric performance all about the world of bugs, with shows taking place on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 October, as well as Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 November 2023.
