Parents seeking summer holiday clubs in Cheltenham can encourage their children to get creative at The Wilson's Creative Explorers drop-off sessions throughout July and August 2024 at the popular art gallery and museum.
Taking place every Wednesday from Wednesday 27 July to Wednesday 28 August 2024, this artist-led fun and informal summer holiday club gives arty kids the chance to express themselves, while meeting new friends and picking up new creative skills.
They'll be treated to a tour of The Wilson's galleries to discover the works on display, with plenty of time for free play for kids to explore their artistic self-expression.
Plus collaborate on nature-themed craft projects — which might get messy, so old clothes are advised! And if the sun is shining, there's a nature walk to get everyone outside in the fresh air, too.
Best suited for five to 11-year-olds, the holiday club welcomes younger children, too — but parents should note, children aged four and under are only able to attend from 11am to 3pm, following government safeguarding guidelines.
Children will also need to bring their own packed lunch, although there's the option to purchase an 'Arty' lunch box from The Wilson cafe on the day, with a 20 per cent discount for Creative Explorers.
Tickets for Creative Explorers cost £20 per child and must be booked online in advance via cheltenhammuseum.org.uk/creative-explorers-summer-club.
