The Music Theatre International will take to the stage at Cheltenham Playhouse this spring, promising powerful gospel music, incredible choreography and a moving story.

Bringing clever lyricism and catchy gospel harmonies to town from Thursday 5 to Saturday 7 April 2018, Sister Act follows disco diva Deloris Van Cartier. When she witnesses a murder and is sent into protective custody in a convent, Deloris finds herself at odds with the strict lifestyle.

Using her unique dance moves and vocal talents to inspire the choir, Deloris must join forces with her new sisterhood when her cover is blown…

Featuring lyrics by Glenn Slater, and music by Alan Menken, the man behind some of Disney’s best loved tunes, The Music Theatre International’s adaptation of this classic is sure to lift audiences’ spirits this April. Offering a terrific tribute to the power of friendship, with plenty of music and dancing along the way.
