Journey to a land far-far away when the award-winning show Shrek The Musical comes to the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham, from Tuesday 12 to Sunday 17 March 2024.
Based on the classic DreamWorks movie, which has brought laughter and joy to cinemas and homes worldwide, the Shrek The Musical stage adaptation follows grumpy green ogre Shrek and his trusty sidekick Donkey as they set out on a quest to defeat the formidable dragon and rescue the fair Princess Fiona.
Gloucestershire audiences can expect to sing along to the thrilling stage escapade with its show-stopping soundtrack featuring favourites such as 'I'm A Believer', 'Big Bright Beautiful World' and 'I Know It's Today'.
Promising family fun, outlandish characters and an upbeat score, the wild adventure is brought to the stage by a stellar cast led by theatre legend, Antony Lawrence, as Shrek; Olivier-Award nominated, James Gillan, as the villainous Lord Farquaad; and theatre favourite, Brandon Lee Sears, as the loveable Donkey.
