Would be nice if you could have a trip on a small boat instead of having to paddle. Will give 10 stars if they introduce that!

Woodland Trust nature courses
7 to 8 June – Budding environmentalists from across the county can find out more about the natural world surrounding us this spring, thanks to a new series of courses from the Woodland Trust and University of Gloucestershire.
Get to grips with the great outdoors and celebrate the natural world by taking part in a brand new series of courses in Gloucestershire, starting this spring.
As part of the University of Gloucestershire’s All Age Learning series, experts from the Woodland Trust will be leading a mixture of talks and hands-on activities at The Park campus in Cheltenham, as well as interactive visits to Lineover Wood, near Dowdeswell, from April 2008.
Professor Stephen Hill, director of All Age Learning, said: ‘This is a fantastic chance for people to find out more about the natural world on their doorstep while meeting others who share a passion for nature.’
And whether you have a wealth of knowledge or are just getting started, organisers promise there will be something to entertain and inform everyone.
On Thursday 22 May 2008 the Woodland Trust and the University of Gloucestershire will be holding a Discover Ancient Trees event. Organisers say: ‘Ancient trees are some of the oldest and largest living things on earth, yet thousands of them survive forgotten in our towns, parks and countryside. This day will help you find, identify and record them.’ The cost for this day course is £40.
On Saturday 7 June and Sunday 8 June 2008 a two-day Introducing Ancient Woodland course will be held in the stunning surrounds of a bluebell covered wood. This non-residential, weekend course will allow participants to explore the characteristic features of the unique woodland landscape, its species, restoration and preservation, as well as learning how woodland archaeology is used to help interpret its past. The cost for this two-day course is £80.
