Play at the Three Counties Show 2008
Enter by 15 May – The search to find talented Gloucestershire bands and solo artists to play at this summer’s Three Counties Show 2008 has been launched by Severn Sound, offering a rare chance to perform in front of 90,000 people.
The Music Village at the Three Counties Show 2008 is being hosted by Gloucestershire radio station Severn Sound this summer, giving local bands, groups and solo artists from across the county a chance to showcase their talent live on stage to a potential crowd of 90,000 people.
Being held this year from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 June, The Music Village was a popular addition first introduced to the Three Counties Show in Malvern last year, and 2008 will be the first time local talent will get a chance to get involved.
Severn Sound’s programme controller Marcus Langreiter said: ‘Severn Sound is proud to support local music – these bands and artists are the future and we’d love to be able to discover the next Kaiser Chiefs or Coldplay right here in Gloucestershire.’
If you think you, your band or group have got what it takes to keep the Three Counties Show’s crowds entertained enter by Thursday 15 May 2008 by visiting severnsound.co.uk and uploading your best track to be in with a chance of standing in the spotlight on the Music Village stage.
