Would be nice if you could have a trip on a small boat instead of having to paddle. Will give 10 stars if they introduce that!

RoC Retin-Ox+ review
Product of the week – In just 12 weeks RoC says it can improve the appearance of fine line and wrinkles, with no time machine to hand we thought it was worth a try.
Wrinkles may not be the most glamorous of beauty topics, but it is one that most women (and increasingly more men) will start to think about as the years roll by and the signs of age start to show.
While no-one has discovered a miracle cure for turning back the hands of time yet, skincare company RoC began its search for the elixir of eternal beauty more than a decade ago and now claims to have come the closest to a wonder potion yet.
The new range of Retin-Ox+ products which promise – and more importantly are clinically proven – to reduce fine lines and wrinkles is fresh on the market, and RoC is so confident in it success that it has issued a challenge to UK consumers that they will notice a visible difference within just 12 weeks.
Once we managed to get through all the layers of packaging we discovered our 12 week challenge pack came complete with two 30ml tubes of Retin-Ox+ night cream, as well an information guide which, while making for an interesting read, could have been summed-up with rub on your face every night before bed, sit back and wait for the results.
The name ‘Retin-Ox+’ may conjure images of laboratories and chemistry sets, but our first squirt revealed a delicately-scented rich cream that, thankfully, was no-where near as thick as some of the old-fashioned, heavy night creams still lining the shelves.
In case you were wondering – the RoC’s new night cream contains the super-ingredient Retinol, which (unless you happen to be a dermatologist) is more commonly known as a pure form of Vitamin A – one of the few anti-ageing ingredients which is scientifically proven to work.
According to RoC after the first application our skin should already look smoother – and we were pleasantly surprised to find that our dried hides did in fact feel more hydrated immediately and still silky smooth the next morning. While after four weeks our skin should apparently start to feel more firm, at eight weeks we should notice the skin’s elasticity is increased and finally at 12 weeks crow’s feet and frown lines should become visibly reduced.
As an intensive night-time moisturiser RoC’s Retin-Ox+ is a rich and creamy pleasure and a smooth, tighter complexion was achieved throughout the 12-week period, however while RoC maintain that this product is suitable for any age showing signs of ageing we think that (like the twenty-something tester) the visible results will be lost on younger skin. Instead we’d recommend this as a beneficial treat for those aged 40 and above. While it isn’t a miracle cure, RoC’s Retin-Ox+ will bring a smile back to the former frown lines on more mature skin.
RoC’s Retin-Ox+ 12-week-challenge pack is available from Boots online, retailing at a special offer price of £29.95.
