Would be nice if you could have a trip on a small boat instead of having to paddle. Will give 10 stars if they introduce that!

Captain Corelli’s Mandolin in Cheltenham
19 June – Louis de Bernières’ modern classic, Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, will be brought to Cheltenham Town Hall’s stage with a mixture of live music and magical storytelling this June, not to mention a chicken or two.
Capturing the magical essence of Louis de Bernières’ breathtaking novel Captain Corelli’s Mandolin on stage is certainly no mean feat, but it’s one that will be attempted with gusto at Cheltenham Town Hall this summer.
With live music from acclaimed musician Alison Stephens on mandolin, guitar, trumpet, tuba and percussion, and Anne Evans on flute and piano, narrator Mike Maran will be bringing this epic tale of love and war to the stage – complete with two chickens, a few aubergines, three puppets, and a goat on Thursday 19 June 2008.
Promising a humorous, occasionally tear-jerking, uplifting and thoroughly entertaining hour and a half production at Cheltenham Town Hall, this stage-version of Captain Corelli’s Mandolin will give Gloucestershire audiences – and fans of the bestselling book – a unique, live performance experience.
