Across the county libraries are sharing the joy of storytelling with some of its youngest readers.

Start their love of literature from a young age, with story time.

Encourage a love of reading from an early age by taking your nippers along to the local library, where they can hear a range of read-aloud tales to capture the imagination.

The free series of regular story time sessions are being held in more than 20 libraries across Gloucestershire’s six areas, so there’s bound to be one near you. Plus, it’s a great excuse for parents to pick-up the latest novel at the same time.

Cheltenham

Bishops Cleeve Library holds half hour story time sessions every Wednesday from 2.30pm, during term time.

Charlton Kings Library holds half hour story time sessions every Thursday from 2.15pm, during term time.

Cheltenham Children's Library Toddler Time is held for half an hour every Wednesday from 2.00pm, during term time.

Hesters Way Library holds half hour story time sessions every Monday from 2pm.

Prestbury Library holds half hour story time sessions every Friday from 2.15pm, as well as on the last Tuesday of every month at 2.15pm.

Up Hatherley Library holds half hour story time sessions every Tuesday from 2.15pm.

Winchcombe Library holds half hour story time sessions every Wednesday from 2.15pm.
