Gloucestershire libraries' storytelling

Across the county libraries are sharing the joy of storytelling with some of its youngest readers.

Encourage a love of reading from an early age by taking your nippers along to the local library, where they can hear a range of read-aloud tales to capture the imagination.

The free series of regular story time sessions are being held in more than 20 libraries across Gloucestershire’s six areas, so there’s bound to be one near you. Plus, it’s a great excuse for parents to pick-up the latest novel at the same time.

Cheltenham

Bishops Cleeve Library holds half hour story time sessions every Wednesday from 2.30pm, during term time.

Charlton Kings Library holds half hour story time sessions every Thursday from 2.15pm, during term time.

Cheltenham Children's Library Toddler Time is held for half an hour every Wednesday from 2.00pm, during term time.

Hesters Way Library holds half hour story time sessions every Monday from 2pm.

Prestbury Library holds half hour story time sessions every Friday from 2.15pm, as well as on the last Tuesday of every month at 2.15pm.

Up Hatherley Library holds half hour story time sessions every Tuesday from 2.15pm.

Winchcombe Library holds half hour story time sessions every Wednesday from 2.15pm.

Cotswolds

Cirencester Library holds their Stories and Rhymes sessions every Tuesday at 2.00pm for 45 minutes, during term time.

Chipping Campden Library holds half hour story time sessions every Wednesday from 2.15pm, during term time.

Fairford Library holds half hour story time sessions every Wednesday from 2.15pm, during term time.

Lechlade Library holds half hour story time sessions every third Friday of each month at 3.30pm.

Moreton-in-the-Marsh Library holds half hour story time sessions every Tuesday from 2.15pm, during term time.

Stow-on-the-Wold Library holds half hour story time sessions every Friday from 2.15pm.

Tetbury Library holds half hour story time sessions every Friday from 2.15pm.

Forest of Dean

Cinderford Library holds half hour story time sessions every Wednesday from 2pm.

Gloucester

Brockworth Library holds half hour story time sessions every Thursday from 2.45pm, during term time.

Churchdown Library holds half hour story time sessions every Monday from 2.15pm.

Gloucester Library holds half hour story time sessions every Saturday from 11am.

Quedgeley Library holds hourly story time sessions twice every month, on the first and second Saturday from 11am.

Berkeley Library holds half hour story time sessions every Friday from 10.30am, during term time.

Dursley Library holds half hour story time sessions every Friday from 11am, during term time.

Minchinhampton Library holds half hour story time sessions every Thursday from 2.45pm.

Nailsworth Library holds half hour story time sessions every first Wednesday of the month from 2.15pm, during term time.
