Gloucestershire inventors ease pint carrying pains

CarryaRound, the snazzy new pint carrier devised by two Gloucestershire inventors, is set to sweep the nation following a recent appearance on Al Murray’s primetime show.

While Al Murray can usually be seen clumsily delivering his show’s guests a freshly pulled pint complete with plenty of spillage, boy band Westlife were saved being splashed during their recent appearance thanks to Gloucestershire inventors Paul and Nigel Longley.

The two brothers from Gloucester have recently unveiled their invention CarryaRound, a snazzy new gadget capable of snugly carrying three or four pints at a time – which makes fumbling with glasses, spilled tipples and multiple trips to the bar a thing of the past.

Inspired by growing increasingly frustrated with flimsy cardboard carriers seen sopping wet and littering the floor at football matches and concerts across the county, the duo came up with a user-friendly, not to mention environmentally-friendly, durable alternative which is now being snapped up by sports clubs across the county.

Inventor Paul Longley said: ‘I knew The CarryaRound was going to be a success when I took the gadget to a Gloucester Rugby match and everyone at the bar was asking to borrow it – of course I told them where to buy their own!’
