Art in A Cotswold Village exhibition
8 July – A trio of artists will be converging on Lower Slaughter’s Village Hall for a week-long exhibition this summer.
Art-loving visitors to Lower Slaughter are in for a treat this summer, when the Art in A Cotswold Village exhibition gets underway at The Village Hall on Wednesday 2 July 2008.
Featuring work by Sue Law – who works with a variety of media to create modern depictions of landscapes and animals; Frederick Lea – an accomplished local watercolour artists whose subjects include landscapes and steam railway scenes; and Alison Holt – an accomplished machine embroidery textile artist who creates beautiful landscapes and floral scenes using a sewing machine.
As well as seeing all three artist’s in spectacular detail, visitors will also be have the opportunity to meet and speak with the artists themselves, as well as having the chance to purchase original artwork, prints and cards.
