Talented members of The Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen will be displaying their latest works at The Guild Gallery in Painswick this December – with the Christmas Feast exhibition offering a prime opportunity to browse through a selection of quality crafts, not to mention a chance to pick-up any last minute presents for discerning family and friends.

On display will be locally-designed and crafted ceramics, fashion, textiles and accessories, prints, paper, jewellery, furniture and furnishings, wood, leather, metalwork, sculpture, and glass – with price tags stretching the whole spectrum of budgets.

Organisers say: ‘For the Christmas Feast a banqueting table will be laden with plates of dazzling treasures in the manner of a lavish Elizabethan banquet – including silver spoons, glass baubles and decorative droplets, candles and candelabras, precious metals and jewels spilling out of jewel boxes, bowls of fruit of turned wood, ceramic pomegranates, quails eggs, not forgetting the gilt sugarplums.’
